Dr. Rachel Oglesby grew up outside of Atlanta, Georgia. Her extended family is from Raleigh, so North Carolina was always her home away from home. She attended The University of Georgia, from 2014-2018, where she studied chemistry and French. After her parents relocated back to NC, Dr. Oglesby followed and decided to make this state her permanent home. She received her Doctor of Dental Medicine degree from East Carolina University in May of 2023. During her 4 years in dental school, she grew to love serving the people of eastern North Carolina, and she is excited to care for patients here in Cape Carteret.

Dr. Oglesby married her husband Sam in July of 2023. They recently moved to Hubert, and they are eager to explore the Crystal Coast. When she is not in the office, Dr. Oglesby enjoys cooking, spending time with family, and playing with her dog Sebastian aka “Seabass.”
